Legacy+Art specialises in the artistic documentation of astonishing artefacts that carry with them both meaning and story.
From personal possessions to astonishing artefacts that have witnessed great events, or those that have been instrumental in historic moments or private memories, we use high resolution cameras and advanced techniques to deliver large format fine art prints that evocatively reveal the witness marks of history and of lives lived with remarkable clarity .
Our work however is not about the photography; its strength lies in its ability to act as a portal, to another time, another place, to another person. It can transport us to the heart of an incredible story or an amazing soundtrack, unlocking both treasured memories and our most heartfelt feelings. It is a way of bringing the events and the people we love out of the past and into our present.
We work for both private clients and for international institutions, from a grandfather’s watch or a mother’s necklace, to artefacts that have travelled to the deepest point in the ocean or to the far side of the moon.
We treat every object with the reverence they deserve, allowing each fascinating story to be heard once more.
